As we reflect on 2025, I am immensely proud of how Veridian (SpecTec Cruise) has continued to lead and innovate in an ever-evolving cruise industry. This year’s achievements- delivering advanced AMOS solutions to 37 Ocean ships, expanding our talented team, and elevating our core product- all stem from a shared commitment to customer excellence, technological progress, and sustainable operations.

Our focus remains clear: enabling cruise operators to deliver unforgettable guest experiences while maximising safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. None of this would be possible without the trust of our customers, the support of our industry partners, and the passion and expertise of our team.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to build on this momentum. Together, we will continue to anticipate the needs of our industry and deliver the next generation of asset management solutions for cruise fleets worldwide.

2025 has been a milestone year for the global cruise sector, defined by record-breaking growth, financial performance, and dynamic consumer trends.

  • Record Industry Profits: $72.5 billion in industry-wide revenue and $168.6 billion in total economic impact, driven by double-digit EBITDA growth, strong demand, and improving yields.
  • Passenger Surge: 37.7 million passengers took to the seas—an 8.4% increase since 2024—highlighting the cruise industry’s robust recovery and renewed popularity.
  • Fleet Expansion: 16 new ships- including mega ships such as Star of the SeasWorld America, and Star Princess– entered service in 2025.
  • Demographic Shifts: The typical cruise guest is getting younger, with new itineraries and experiences appealing to a broader audience.
  • Luxury & Expedition Growth: Since 2010, the luxury cruise segment has tripled in capacity, and demand for expedition cruising continues to accelerate.
  • Sustainability Momentum: Record investment in sustainable technologies, including shore power and dual fuel options, is setting a new standard for responsible cruising.

Innovation across the cruise sector has reimagined the sailing experience and reshaped operations:

  • Wearable Technology & Seamless Interactions: Guests now enjoy frictionless embarkation, onboard payments, and tailored experiences through smart wearables.
  • Sustainability-Focused Solutions: Adoption of alternative fuels and energy management systems continues to advance.
  • AI & Machine Learning: Predictive analytics, automation, and smarter asset management tools are delivering efficiencies fleetwide.
  • Connectivity Upgrades: Enhanced Wi-Fi and always-on connectivity ensure both guests and crews are more connected than ever. Large scale deployments of starlink and competing options have driven this enhancement

SpecTec Cruise View: Growth, Delivery, and Innovation

2025 has seen real progress and growth across all areas of SpecTec Cruise. At the heart of this progress are our talented people, transformative products, and unyielding focus on delivering value to our clients.

Transformation Projects Delivered:
Major transformation initiatives advanced with key customers, ensuring cruise operators are equipped with the tools to operate more efficiently and sustainably.

AMOS Delivery Milestones:
An impressive 40 ocean cruise ships were equipped with AMOS in 2025, including both legacy system replacement and newbuild implementation. Some particular highlights being Star of the Seas (sister to Icon), Celebrity Xcel, Disney Destiny, Norwegian Aqua and Star Princess.

Team & People Growth:
Our service delivery team expanded with four exceptional new technical experts:

  • Zbigniew Scibiorski – Technical Consultant
  • Marcin Zadrzynski – Support Consultant
  • Naima Emmerson – Support Consultant
  • Gabriela Di Grazia – Software Developer

AMOS-X Product Innovation:
With five major releases in 2025, AMOS-X adoption accelerated across the fleet and is set for even broader rollouts in early 2026. This year’s highlights:

  • Usability: Major usability improvements to simplify day-to-day tasks.
  • Data Visualization: Smarter data visualizations supporting faster, more informed decisions.
  • Mobility: Extended mobile working tools for on-scene reporting.
  • Feature Enhancement: New features to improve effectiveness and optimize resource onboard- maintenance planner, web forms, stock issuance, on-board receiving, request stock to name a few

Our technology mission remains clear: improve the working life of crews and empower cruise operators with world-class asset management solutions.

Our Rebrand and Refocus

This year as announced in early December we delivered our organization re-brand

Now we move ahead into the future as Veridian.
