Veridian FAQs
Veridian is the global leader in cruise asset management software, and our flagship AMOS™ software is used by over 70% of global cruise operators to manage the maintenance, procurement, inventory, safety and compliance of their fleet.
Veridian is the cruise division of the SpecTec Group. Formerly known as SpecTec Cruise, it was rebranded as Veridian in 2025. SpecTec Cruise was founded in 1985 and became the leader in asset management software for the maritime industry. The rebrand to Veridian represents the next chapter of our investment and commitment to the cruise industry.
Veridian is headquartered in Miami, Florida, the heart of the global cruise industry. We operate right around the world though and have additional offices in the UK, Italy & Argentina. We support cruise lines and fleet operators across every major ocean, and our global support team provide around the clock support to our customers wherever their vessels sail.
Firstly as SpecTec Cruise and now as Veridian, our roots in maritime asset management stretch back to 1985. Our AMOS™ platform has been continuously developed and deployed in the cruise industry for over 40 years, making it the most established asset management solution available to cruise operators. Our experience and expertise in the industry is why so many turn to us to power their cruise fleet.
Whether you’re using AMOS™ for the first time or wanting to get more out of your current AMOS™ set up, we offer a range of services designed to help cruise operators. Inception is our AMOS™ Implementation Service, building efficiency into AMOS™ implementations from day one. ServicePlus is an ongoing optimisation programme that helps cruise operators unlock deeper value from the platform over time. Enhancement Services for system improvement, extending capabilities and optimizing data. We also have our Global Customer Support team which is accessible via the Veridian support portal.
Our AMOS software proudly powers 70% of the global cruise fleet including some of the world’s largest cruise corporations. Our customers include Carnival Corporation – We power its 9 cruise line brands and nearly 100 ships – Royal Caribbean Group, Disney Cruise Line, Virgin Voyages, P&O Cruises, Silversea, Norwegian Cruise Line, Cunard, Holland America Line, and many more.
Most asset management software is built for general industrial or maritime use and is then adapted for cruise. At Veridian, our combination of technology and services have been specifically designed for cruise ship operations. To add to this, we offer a level of expertise and cruise industry understanding that can only be achieved when fully committed to the market. This cruise-specific depth means AMOS handles the operational complexity unique to cruise, multi-brand fleet management, passenger safety compliance, drydock planning, and the high frequency maintenance demands of vessels that rarely leave service in ways that generic maritime platforms simply cannot match. It’s why cruise operators trust AMOS more than any other asset management platform in the world.
