A message from our CEO: What our new name and identity mean for our business
Why did we rebrand to Veridian? It’s a question I’ve been asked a lot, and the answer is simple: it was time. The cruise industry is transforming at speed, driven by greener, smarter ships, a relentless focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and an unwavering commitment to guest and crew safety. At the center of this evolution is technology.
Our rebrand to Veridian reflects a major step forward, reinforcing our commitment to delivering innovation and value for cruise operators worldwide, helping customers meet their challenges head on. We are evolving not just for today, but to lead the sector into the future. At the same time, it reinforces our position as the leading provider of cruise asset management technology and positions us for long-term growth and ongoing innovation.
Technology is the engine behind everything we do. We’re investing heavily in delivering against our evolution strategy. Bringing to market new digital solutions, meaningful partnerships to drive greater integration, and data-driven insights. Our goal is to help our customers optimize fleet operations, and in turn, grow and lead alongside them. We’re investing in the future to ensure they have the tools, insights, and support they need to thrive.
The new brand signals that we’re doubling down on innovation and positioning ourselves as a more agile, forward-thinking partner. This is critical to ensure we can quickly and effectively deliver value to our customers.
Some people have asked why we would rebrand at a time of such great success. For me, it’s about future-proofing the business. The rebrand isn’t just cosmetic, it’s about evolving how we think and operate and a signal to our customers that we’re evolving with them. We are here for the long run and ready to meet with our customers the industry’s changing needs.
You might also have noticed that the word ‘Cruise’ is no longer in our name. This was a deliberate choice. It reflects a broader vision of innovation and long-term relevance. Our roots are firmly in the cruise sector, and that won’t change, but the Veridian identity strengthens our ability to support the industry’s ongoing evolution. We believe it is a cleaner, fresher, tech-focused brand that reinforces our dedication to collaboration, reliability, and delivering solutions that make a tangible difference onboard and ashore.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, there is a phenomenal opportunity for even more innovation and progress. With the huge advancements delivered and planned in our technology offering through AMOS™-X, and newly announced integration partnerships with for example Valmet, we are excited to deliver even more value to our customers, both operationally and financially.
A closing and very important message. This is truly an exciting moment for our business as we forge a bold and clear course into the future. Yet one thing remains unchanged- our heart: our people. The exceptional individuals who deliver for our customers every single day are still here; their expertise and deep cruise industry knowledge remain. As do our company values (our compass) that guide how we act and operate with passion and integrity.
Our unwavering commitment to our customers remains at the core of everything we do. While our name and identity evolve, our obsession with delivering excellence does not.
